About

SIVO – Sitting Volleyball for Inclusion and Well-being is an Erasmus+ project dedicated to making sports accessible to everyone, in particular to individuals with disabilities, by creating communities where people with and without disabilities can play together, while fostering social inclusion, personal development, and equal opportunities through sports.

Sitting Volleyball For Inclusion and Well-Being

With 87 million people with disabilities in Europe, many face obstacles to participating in sports due to physical barriers, lack of inclusive training, and limited opportunities. Sitting volleyball is a sport that enables individuals with physical and motor disabilities to compete alongside able-bodied athletes in an equal and engaging environment. The project goes beyond simply promoting this sport, and it provides training, education, and resources to sports organizations, trainers and coaches to create truly inclusive sporting opportunities.
